For more than 15 Years the Project "Slavefriese" has been one of the main-characters in the German Hardcore scene. Robert Friese has released his tracks on international Labels such as Resident-E / Acardipane, DNA, Third Movement, Megarave and more. Over more than a Decade Slavefriese proved his wide musical spectrum from dark melancholic industrial to melodious Mainstyle Hardcore.
1: What is your greatest achievement as a deejay?
When I play at a party and testdrive a brand new slavefriese track and see the crowd is really going mad..
2: How did you come up with your deejayname?
It's a lame story, 20 years ago, when I got my first Amiga Harddrive (yes, gigantic 170 Megabytes (!) space) the external device was named as [slave] and the folder with my musical projects was just called "Friese" (which is my surname) - so the sequencer showed the path [slave]Friese over the years the [ ] / disappeared from my name ....
