BEATSTREAM

Beatstream is a familiar face in the Dutch hardcore-scene. Under his first alias Darkvizion, he played at major events such as Decibel Outdoor, Nightmare in Rotterdam, Earthquake, Slaves to the Rave, Darkness4Life, Hardcore Gladiators and many more. He also worked for many years at a well-known import recordstore, where he met Paul Elstak. As of November 2008, Beatstream is part of the Offensive-family. This gives him the opportunity to combine his dj- and producer-experience and take it to a higher level. Together with Paul Elstak and fellow Offensive-member Radiate, he is responsible for the huge party-hit 'Angels deserve to Die'. Working hard on new releases and rippin' up dancefloors with his high energy mainstream-sets, Beatstream truely is a force to be reckoned with! If your event needs someone who can tear the place up, Beatstream is the one you're looking for! Get ready for the Beatstream!

1: What is your greatest achievement as a deejay?
There are lots of things I still want to achieve as a DJ and producer, but the gigs at Nightmare in Rotterdam, Decibel Outdoor and Hardcore4Life definitely are special to me. Being asked by Paul to join the Offensive-crew is also something I'm proud of. He's not just somebody, you know.

2: How did you come up with your deejayname?
After Paul asked me to join Offensive, we both thought it would be a good idea to come up with a new name. After some brainstorming, we decided it to be Beatstream. For special occasions, I still like to use my other alias Darkvizion though, so keep an eye out for him.

3: Do you have a special message to all people who read this?
Thanks for being hardcore! Let's make the scene bigger and better together. Hope to see you soon.

4: What is your favourite headphone brand?
I played for years with a Pioneer SE-450, classic. Unfortunately I smashed it, so now I play with a Technics RP-DJ1210. Next one will be a Pioneer HDJ-2000.

5: What do you like to drink during and after your deejayset?
If there's Red Bull, I'm there! But give me a Mojito, and I'm your friend too hahaha…
